About project

Project «Volunteer Center» is developed from 2001, febriary.

The main target groups of this project are Moscow scholars and students, teachers and professors from one side and Russian protected areas (PA) from another. Adults, different specialist of all ages who want to spend holiday as volunteers are welcome too.

The mission of project is the environmental education of youth through practical activity and encouragement of Russian PA with volunteer’s works.

Volunteer Center:

• summarizes the world experience of volunteer’s activity;
• collects and publishes information about PA’s labour requirements;
• creates the database of interested persons or groups – potential volunteers;
• helps to potential volunteers to connect with PA and to organize leaving to PA
• helps to PA to develop «The program of volunteer’s attraction» and to increase efficiency of volunteer’s activity;
• helps to PA to found voluntary specialists they need.
